How many signs do we need before we listen?

Can you tell which photo was taken when I was genuinely happy and...
which one was taken when I was at my lowest low?
Take a guess! :-)

Most people would have guessed wrong. Because in both photos, I'm smiling.
That's the thing about being out of alignment.
Most people can't see it. Sometimes not even you.
From the outside, everything can look perfectly fine.
And from the inside, you might be slowly falling apart.
At the time, I looked successful. I looked happy.
In many ways, I was living a life I had dreamed about years earlier.
Which is exactly why it took me so long to realize something wasn't right.
Because when your life looks good from the outside, it's easy to dismiss the signals coming from within.
Behind the smile, I was constantly stressed.
I struggled to get out of bed in the mornings.
I had migraines almost every day.
I got sick all the time.
I developed strange skin allergies that no one could really explain.
For a year, I treated these as separate problems.
Looking back, I think they were all symptoms of the same thing.
My body was trying to get my attention.
The question is:
How many warning signs do we need before we stop calling them normal?
When I reflect on this, it felt that 3 different parts of me were having completely different conversations.
My mind was saying:
"Be grateful."
"You should be happy."
"You have a great job."
"You get to travel."
"You have nothing to complain about."
My body was saying:
"Something is wrong."
"You're exhausted."
"You've lost your spark."
"This can't continue."
And somewhere underneath all that noise, a quieter voice kept whispering:
"What if there's another way?"
A voice I tried to ignore for a long time.
Looking back, I don't think I was unhappy because my life was bad.
I think I was struggling because there was a growing gap between the life I was living and the person I was becoming.
The gap was invisible to everyone else.
Most of the time, it was invisible to me too.
Until it wasn't.
Today, alignment means something very simple to me.
It's not about life being easy or being happy all the time.
It's when my mind, body and soul are moving in the same direction instead of pulling me apart.
Because no amount of external success can compensate for internal misalignment.
Looking back, the signs were everywhere. I just wasn't ready to listen.
That's why my philosophy is simple:
Align. Trust. Grow.
